2) What is your reaction to the Dasmine Cathey story? How did you feel as a reader in response to Cathey’s plight with literacy? Explain your opinion, reaction, or response.
3) Do you think educational institutions are doing enough to sufficiently address problems of literacy, whether athletes or non-athletes, in students in K-12 and in college who may be passed from one course to the next but without having acquired a mastery over the literacy skills within the courses?
