Got stuck trying to solve this problem. You can ignore the technical stuff that explains how ventusky’s settings shoul be altered. In the last paragraph, when it talks about counting the 3-hour rainfall, I counted 42.37 inches of rain.
I think that you’re supposed to convert inches to meters and then convert km^2 to m^2 or something?? I’m not sure, but this is what my TA was explaining in office hours – so this information may or may not be helpful.
She also wrote this formula on the whiteboard:
rain (m) x SA (m^2) = vol (m^3)
