In 2021 T-Mobile experienced a big data breach which impacted around 76.6 million users. The attack was made by two hackers who breached into their database and exposed sensitive data of their users. Recently, T-Mobile has reached a $500M court settlement in a class-action lawsuit ($350M to settle claims and spend $150M to bolster security) without admitting guilt regarding the breach.
