TOPIC: Biological Macromolecules
INTRODUCTION: Many of the molecules of living organisms are composed of thousands of
atoms. These molecules are considered macromolecules. There are four main types of
biological macromolecules: carbohydrates, lipids, proteins, and nucleic acids.
TASK: Your task is to make a collage that demonstrates an understanding of biological
macromolecules. The collage should include the definition, type, structure, example, function
and images of all four types of biological macromolecules.
INSTRUCTIONS:
● The collage should include the required components and images that represent
biologically important macromolecules.
● Use a variety of images (e.g. diagrams, pictures, flowcharts, etc. as applicable). ●
The collage should be informative, creative, colourful and attractive.
● The major considerations for the evaluation are knowledge of the topic and its application,
neatness, organization and creativity. A rubric is attached for more information.
● Research the topic thoroughly by using various resources of information, such as books,
journals, lesson notes and other online resources to understand the concept of biological
molecules.
